After Stephen’s first Movieline cover story in 1989, for almost two decades, he became one of that magazine's top contributors and editors, writing numerous — and highly-quoted — celebrity cover stories, celebrity inside features and think pieces. Movieline published several more editions of his popular and influential "Ten Best Unproduced Screenplays" feature he first launched in 1985 in American Film.
